DAY 1. ROMANTIC TALLINN WELCOMES YOU WITH KAMA APERATIF AND ESTONIAN BEST SOMMELIER DINNER.

The tour will start with a guided visit to Kadriorg park to see the romantic swan pond, Kadriorg Baroque palace, Peter the First House and modern art museum KUMU. You will also visit the seaside Pirita to see St Bridget Convent, Song Festival Grounds and Pirita Harbor.

Especially for Magic Unica guests an exclusive experience to enjoy Estonian aperitif with kama and other traditional delicacies in the historic Tallinn Song Festival Grounds magnificent Lighthouse where you can enjoy the Surprise Aperitif with a romantic and breath-taking panorama over the harbor and the city of Tallinn!

DAY 2. EXPLORE THE ESTONIAN AUTHENTIC CHARACTER AND ENJOY THE MEDIEVAL CHARM!

Spend a wonderful morning exploring the interesting history and stunning architecture of Tallinn’s Old Town with a 3-hour guided tour including an entrance to one of the city museums.

For lunch, you will stop at “MEKK” to explore some Modern Estonian Cuisine where its rich history has mixed gastronomy components from Danish, Sweden, Russian and German cuisine, not to forget its own unique nuances, becoming an ultimately enchanting and diverse phenomenon. All the raw produce used in modern Estonian dishes is extremely fresh and come, as much as possible, from Estonian ecological farms, emphasizing the healthiness of the diet!

Afternoon take an inspiring and fascinating journey to learn how ancient Estonians lived on that land. Located on the picturesque Kopli Bay, Rocca al Mare Open-air museum offers an authentic experience with 12 fully restored farms, windmills, church, tavern and schoolhouse- all of the embodying the characteristic touch taking you back to the Estonian folk traditions with typical architecture of centuries ago.

Your dinner is served at “Olde Hansa” – one of the most fascinating restaurants in Tallinn. Honoring the Hanseatic League and the golden age of Tallinn, “Olde Hansa” proposes a true medieval gourmet experience. Feel yourself at home in the rich merchant house while tasting delicious food, savouring good rinks, entertaining with good jolly and feeling the warmth of this Hanseatic medieval home!

DAY 3. TSAIKOVSKY’S FAVOURITE SEASIDE TOWN WITH ARTIST GALLERY GASTRONOMY AND ISLAND IDYLL WITH SPA LUXURY!

In mattinata si parte per Haapsalu, incantevole cittadina di mare con affascinanti caffè letterari, un castello medievale in rovina su cui aleggia una inquietante Dama Bianca, il lungomare panoramico e i fanghi curativi. Avrete un assaggio di questa città, la preferita della nobiltà di St Pietroburgo, dove il grande Pjotr Tchaikovsky ha scritto parte della sua musica.

Per pranzo potete visitare la galleria d’arte di Epp Maria Kokamägi e gustare le delizie della graziosa e caratteristica caffetteria che si trova sopra la galleria. Nel pomeriggio si parte per Saaremaa, la più grande isola estone, un sogno per tutti i viaggiatori! DAY 4. DISCOVER THE BEAUTY OF THE ISLAND SAAREMAA AND PAMPER YOUSELF IN LUXURIOUS GRAND ROSE SPA!

Ultimate relaxation in the GrandRoseSpa. You can bathe in salty seawater in the beautifully shaped swimming pool, relax under shower attractions and hot whirlpool bath, super hot Japanese bath, samarium –a low-temperature relaxation sauna with various aromas-, cleansing steam sauna, or hammam that is filled with humid heat. The more courageous ca try the hot Finnish sauna with traditional after jumping into a cold-water barrel. Naturally, do not forget to pamper yourself with various body treatments.

After a reinvigorating buffet lunch at the Rose Spa Restaurant, your guide will meet you for an afternoon tour of Saaremaa.  This Estonian biggest island is famous for its unique natural environment, ancient churches, windmills, typical stone fences, juniper thickets, 14th century medieval castle, many top-class spas and Kaali meteorite crater.

Visit Kuressaare and its enchanting and versatile architecture with cosy cafes and high class restaurants offering also home cooking in nearby tourist farms. This is a lovely town where everything is in walking distance.

DAY 5. PICTURE-POSTCARD MUHU ISLAND, FISHCAFE AND EVENING ARRIVAL AT ST TROPEZ OF ESTONIA!

Morning departure for Muhumaa - a picture-postcard island with  lovely juniper alvars, heavenly fishing villages, working windmills and level limestone bedrock that form low hillocks with thatched cottages.  Explore the Koguva, historical fisherman village and its impressive village ensemble with winding and cross-crossing village streets being surrounded by breast-high dry-stone walls.

Then breathe a warm sea-breeze while taking a  delightful walk under the indigenous trees and in the scenic beach of the Pädaste manor park where Neo-Gothic manor house with a number of stylish stone and dolomite buildings like two-storey granary, a cheese factory, a smithy, stable-coach house completes the aristocratic atmosphere.

Lunch is served at Muhu Kalakohvik (Fish café). Don’t be surprised of this strange name and magic combination of fish that has always been a traditional food on the small Muhu island and coffee that is served to all guests in any Estonian household. Muhu Fish Café offers unforgettable exotic experience in a family dining room where the chef is the mother of the household, and the fish has been caught by the men of the family. The most popular dish is the perch, caught in the same morning. The number of servings depends on the generosity of the sea.

Evening arrival at the vibrant and happening, summer-time-never-sleeping seaside resort Pärnu, Estonian St Tropez, a lovely summer capital.

Dinner in some of the finest Pärnu restaurants recommended according to your gourmet preferences.

Overnight at the charming Art-Nouveau-style Ammende Villa that fascinates with its rich décor, luxury interior and flamboyant park being built by the rich merchant of Pärnu to celebrate his daughter Ammende’s wedding in 1905.

DAY 6. SUMMER CAPITAL ROMANCE, IDYLLIC VILJANDI AND HISTORICIST SANGASTE MANOR AT THE LATVIAN BORDER!

Enjoy some breakfast at the hotel or walk to Mahedik Café that is known for its organic food made from fresh, seasonal and Estonian ingredients, offering healthy diet with also wholegrain bakery products, cakes and gateaux. Perfect place to taste eco-friendly gourmet!

Your guide will show you around in Pärnu – the Estonian summer capital. Enjoy this former wealthy Hanseatic city with its yachting harbour, sandy beaches, beach promenades with many cafes, restaurants, lounges and summer terraces but also world-class spas. 

We highly recommend “Supelsaksad” (Swimming holidaymakers) for lunch as this year the restaurant won the prominent Silverspoon culinary award. Enjoy delicious salads, soups and main courses, freshly baked buns and amazing cakes in cosy and stylish interior with colourful furniture, laces, tablecloths and selected coffee sets.

Afternoon departure for Viljandi, to explore the characteristic beauty of this lovely South-Estonian town and enjoy its beautiful lake and impressive castle ruins that were once home to a powerful Livonian Order.

For dinner we will head to Sangaste Rye Restaurant to taste rye, one of the basic ingredients in Estonian cuisine. Rye is declared to be Estonian national grain and rye bread the most important national food. Try the oldest known rye sort, Sangaste rye that was cultivated here 130 years ago. Together with the traditional dishes included in the menu, you can also find some dishes that contain rye to a smaller or larger extent.

Overnight at Sangaste Castle- the recently lavishly renovated exceptional historicist style Sangaste Castle features magnificent ball halls, gothic-style foyer and English-style hunting hall. This beautiful castle was inspired by the Windsor Castle in England. 

DAY 7. DISCOVER CHARACTERISTIC SETOS, FAIRY-TALE ALATSKIVI CASTLE, EXCITING ONION ROAD AND SOPHISTICATED UNIVERSITY CITY TARTU

Morning departure to visit some characteristic sights in the exciting Southern Estonia and arrive to the authentic Setomaa, where seto ethnic minority lives and where you can discover Seto people’s unique language, lifestyle and folklore in the faraway borderland area. Marvel Setos villages with their small chapels, filled with icons, beautiful scarves, candles and flowers and is open for public prayer during festivities and see how the Orthodox religion coexists together with Setos faith in natural forces and their old pagan god of fertility - Peko.

Enjoy lunch at the characteristic Seto Teahouse (Tsäimaja) eating place within a small open air museum. The museum and the Tsäimaja introduce the heritage, food and life-style of Setos.

After lunch enjoy the aristocratic fairy-tale style neo-gothic Alatskivi castle that welcomes you on the idyllic lake valley being inspired by the British royal family Balmoral palace in Scotland!

On your way to Tartu you will have a glimpse of the famous Onion Route and Peipus lake side characteristic villages. Find out where the name comes from. Possible to visit Raja monastery, Kolkja Russian Old Believers museum to learn more about their religious traditions followed more than 1000 years.

Evening arrival to Tartu - the intellectual capital of Estonia. Enjoy your free evening and dinner in this romantic bohemian university town.

DAY 8. BOHEMIAN TARTU, RUSTIC PÕHJAKA MANOR HOUSE NOSTALGIA AND THE LUXIOROUS AND ARTISTIC ATMOSPHERE AT KAU

Morning discover Tartu- let yourself be mused by the bohemian aura, friendly mentality of youthful atmosphere of this creative city. Enjoy cafes and concerts and river side romance together with many of this city’s young inhabitants and do not forget to take a photo with the famous kissing students sculpture, hear stories of Tartu ghosts, and meet Oscar Wilde!

Lunch in Põhjaka manor,  just  an hour drive from Tartu. Historic manor house, Põhjaka offers gastronomic delights and gathers 3 best chefs in Estonia. They prepare their gastronomy clients affordable, simple and exquisite national cuisine made from local raw ingredients in a homely manor house nostalgic atmosphere.

 Enjoy the free morning at the Viinistu beach exploring the art museum, fishing or try one of the activities Vihula offers: art workshop with czars court painter, mini golf, treasure hunt, boat ride on the picturesque lake with bountiful picnic, raft rally or kayak training on lake and river, bog-shoes walking and many other activities. 

For lunch, your driver will take you to “MerMer” home restaurant with a breath-taking seaside panorama. Meet the Jaaniranna family, who have started their home restaurant inspired by their travels through different culinary traditions and bringing it to the Estonian culture context.

In the afternoon optional activities according to the weather – in the summer months you can hit the beach and try a jet or a kayak, enjoy berry- and mushroom picking in the forests, or play a green fee at Estonian Golf & Country Club, with its beautiful 18-hole Sea Course offering amazing sea views.
